So I'm assuming these were made in the late 80's to early 90's. I found a listing for another Kodiak on Armslist that had a serial number half as high as mine and the highest patent on that label was around 1987 and it had a 1990 copyright for the camo pattern as well. I have searched on the patents found on the label on my bow and the most recent one was filed in 1993. I have added the word 'compound' to the search a million times but it doesn't help the non-compound Kodiaks are just too prolific. So when I search on Fred Bear Kodiak all I get is pictures and information about the older bows. It seems as though almost all of the Kodiak line of bows were re-curves and they were made for like 40 years.
I picked up a Fred Bear 'Kodiak' compound bow at auction and I am having a lot of trouble finding any information about it.
